Raspberry Ice Tea

Directions

  1. In a large saucepan, combine the raspberries, sugar, and lime juice. Mash berries to release the sweet juice. Cook over medium heat until berries release juices. Simmer for 5 minutes.
  1. Remove from the heat and add tea bags. Cover and steep for 20 minutes. Strain, discarding tea bags and raspberry seeds. Transfer tea to a 2-qt. pitcher. Cover and refrigerate until cold.
  1. Just before serving, slowly add seltzer water or a wine of your choice. Serve over ice. Top with raspberries.
